- Opera Today calls Scalia/Ginsburg “enchanting” and “a perfect…jewel,” declaring, “Mr. Wang…is talented, and if Scalia/Ginsburg is any indication, he will give us many more enjoyable evenings in the opera house before he is done.” [Full review]
This is the second production of Scalia/Ginsburg, which received its world premiere at celebrated conductor Lorin Maazel’s Castleton Festival in 2015. Selections from the opera were first introduced at the Supreme Court of the United States, with further presentations at events and in venues including the Second Circuit Judicial Conference and Stanford Law School. An earlier version of the libretto [script] was published by the Columbia Journal of Law & the Arts, with excerpts republished as a chapter in Justice Ginsburg’s book My Own Words, and with the audiobook version of this chapter narrated and performed by Mr. Wang.
