How do I even begin the process of estate planning, it seems overwhelming?

Q: How do I even begin the process of estate planning, it seems overwhelming?

A: Yes, estate planning is a process. Sometimes it goes quickly and simply and other times it takes longer. But here are some simple thoughts to contemplate before you start. Each is important in its time during the process. Understand your circumstances and the factors that will affect your estate (age, health, wealth, need for cash flow, taxes, etc.). Clarify your family and business goals and objectives; seek the help of a professional to discuss the available tools. Next, formulate and implement a plan and finally; perform a periodic review based upon changes in your circumstances and in the applicable law.
