Mr. Lynott litigates and defends complex personal injury matters for Thomas & Libowitz. Mr. Lynott defends various personal injury and LHWCA claims on behalf of self-insured companies, and he litigates serious personal injury, malpractice, product insurance coverage, and public liability claims on behalf of the individual clients of the firm and upon referral from other counsel.

Mr. Lynott has litigated many and extensive jury trials, arbitration, and administrative hearings since he began the practice of law as trial counsel for a multi-line insurer in 1975. After five fortunate years of extensive experience defending all forms of personal injury and serious property damage litigation, Mr. Lynott joined SAURWEIN, BOYD, DECKER & LEVIN, where he litigated personal injury and other individual claims on behalf of that firm's clients. During his 20 years with Thomas & Libowitz, Mr. Lynott has prosecuted, overseen, or otherwise been actively involved in personal injury claim prosecutions and defenses, and insurance-coverage counseling and litigation. He has also litigated environmental, business, and product liability matters.

During his professional career, Mr. Lynott has been an active member of the Bar Association, chairing and serving on various committees, including committees involved in dispute resolution between attorneys and their clients. He serves regularly as a volunteer mediator for the Baltimore Circuit Court, and volunteered as a paralegal seminar instructor.

Mr. Lynott has been an active member and officer of his college alumni society in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is also an avid golfer.
