Mr. Libowitz has over 30 years of experience litigating in various state and federal courts. He began his trial practice as an Assistant State's Attorney for Baltimore City, serving as the Trial Team Leader for most of his tenure. He currently heads the litigation group for Thomas & Libowitz, having fashioned a team of highly qualified, very successful litigators in a variety of legal disputes.

Mr. Libowitz regularly is involved in a variety of civil matters including commercial disputes, tort action and family law issues. Commercial disputes have included representation of publicly held companies as well as individuals. Tort actions have included matters ranging from serious personal injury to national media occurrences. As a family law practitioner, Mr. Libowitz is listed by Martindale-Hubbell in its Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.

Mr. Libowitz was appointed to the Special Committee for Drug Crisis and Underfunding of the Justice System in Baltimore City. During the Committee's two year term, substantial contribution was made to the administration of justice in Baltimore, Maryland.
