|  | Mr. Dorsey provides advisory services by combining his legal acumen with practical business experience. Mr. Dorsey focuses his law practice in transactional and litigation matters that affect individuals and businesses alike. Mr. Dorsey is known for tackling legal concerns no matter the size or strength of the adversary. He continues to develop clients that rely on his contemporary and aggressive pursuit of justice.
Mr. Dorsey advises clients in business matters, including business formations and management issues, acquisitions, intellectual property, corporate governance, and daily operational concerns. Mr. Dorsey counsels clients in litigation matters, including business and commercial litigation, real estate, personal injury, arbitration, and appeals.
Prior to joining Thomas & Libowitz, P.A., Mr. Dorsey established and managed his own law firm, Dorsey & Associates, P.C. He also owned and operated a title company, Maryland Title Group, Inc. Mr. Dorsey gained valuable business experience while working in various positions of responsibility at General Electric Information Services, CDA Investment Technologies, and CyberAge Technologies.
Mr. Dorsey is a Court Facilitator/Mediator in the District Court of Maryland for Carroll County, and a Settlement Officer in the Circuit Court for Carroll County, Maryland where he is assigned to resolve cases involving litigation in the area of contracts and other business disputes; real estate; and auto tort and other negligence matters. Mr. Dorsey is the Chair of the Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission, District Eight.
